This DVD set covers the entire rebuild of the 617 5 cylinder Turbo-Diesel
Engine from a 300D. This was a huge undertaking and many hours of
work went into the rebuild and the DVD production. Filmed in full DVD
resolution and professionally edited down to 4 DVD's. This covers many
items related to the engine such as power steering pump filter removal,
draining, oil cooler line removal, valve adjustment, cylinder head removal
etc. You will have a detailed understanding of how this engine was
designed and put together. We take the engine out of the car and keep
going until we are down to the bare block. You will see how the timing and
oil pump chains are routed, we replace both! Also guide rails for these
chains are replaced, small details like tensioner springs are even
replaced. This also shows how the engine and transmission are installed
together just like in the factory. We include a test drive segment that shows
the transmission and engine that we rebuilt in our DVD videos working as
