Editoral - Author's Stupid Opinion Only Below - For Entertainment Purposes only - Don't sue us! These were in reality fine engines comparable to a Mercedes Diesel. These V8 Diesels from the late 70's, early 80's sounded awesome and were massive engines! They cranked out plenty of smoke while developing enough horsepower to barely move a car, that was until the head gaskets blew, the crankshaft hit the pavement, the 'Water in Fuel' light popped on and the injection pump seized up! The cool part is that some people have figured out how to rebuild these old diesels to actually make some power and run reliably... |
